  1. Saucer of Antifreeze?
  2. Yeah I'm up for this. I'm going to bring a couple of my kids along too. Just to throw stones at things and such like. It will probably be a day/evening trip for us.
  3. Lathe is sweet. Re the belt drive. John Brooks in town have many toothed belts and pulleys for industry. It might be worth a look.
  4. Woah. That gearbox is sweet! Where did you find that?
  5. I've always used steel bundy. Heres the some photos of what I was talking about. Pipe bender: This style does larger tube without collapsing it around the bend. Put the pioe in the flairing tool as normal. Set it up like you are going to do a double flair and give it a few turns down. Once it's done it should look a bit like this (I under did this a little)
  6. Yeah pretty much. I'll try take a photo for you.
  7. Steel fuel lines can be a prick. Make it out of 3/8th and you shouldn't have problems. I have made fuel lines out of 6mm rod and then used that as a template to bend the steel tube. You can cut the 6mm and weld it together to get the shape you want. A little pipe bender is the best to bend it with, they usually cost around $50. To crox the end hust give it a little nudge with a flairing tool, like you were going to do a double flair but stop as soon as the tube starts to compress.
  8. It's more of a prick getting the shifter out than getting under the car.
  9. I could be keen for this. I'll have to check back in 7 months to see what I have that runs.
  10. A rebore + oversive pistons will help bump up the compression too.
  11. Yeah it's on the south side of Kaikoura just off the road. Keen for this. When?
  12. Sounds good to me. How about you others?
  13. I can't think of a reason why not. Or The residual pressure valve should be easy enough to remove, you could swap which port it is in.
  14. Sorry buddy stink news. I drove past the aftermath today. I couldn't see the front.
  15. Not really. Not the best for a meat though. Any way it's set in stone, CUL8Rs putting on beers, bbq, and a band* for the huge party at his place. OR lets drive our cars somewhere, I don't or care where. *Band may in fact be One Direction CDs
  16. Voted. I'll bring the AP5 for Leppers brother approved skids.
  17. How about a big as FUCK!! Party at CUL8Rs place? Followed by lots of skids to make sure his new neighbours like him.
  18. Uniweld in Sockburn are good to deal with.
