  1. Wow. I forgot all about those. I hope you can make something that works with them.

    LD28 Turbo

I'd be tempted to ditch that manifold. Is running a non turbo manifold with a J pipe a better option?
  3. Look at that grass. I hope some "precision driving" was done after the photos.
  4. Pic of driveshaft installed in gearbox please.
  5. I'm dying to see this all fresh and red! It'll look awesome with those gold wheels too. Best save ever.
  6. Sounds like a good deal to me. I'll look into making it fit/work.
  7. Sorry mate won't be round, doesn't sound like too a big job anyway. Please don't put another Lucas Alternator on it. I have a nice Japanese one to donate if you want it.
  8. Wow Bart, just the thought of you turning up at a strangers wedding with a bottle of Jack and a borrowed car.
  9. Why do they have a meeting when the Rangiora car show is on?
  10. Thanks mate. As I remember you had a few other things to sort out last time you were in Christchurch. Next time.
  11. Ha ha, I knew that at the time. Did it anyway.
  12. Some months later. . . Handle bars. Made, finished today. Panther gussets made in 3mm and milled down to 1.8mm because I couldn't buy 1.8mm Chromoly plate. Jigged and welded into place. Mock up picture because I was feeling proud. View from the drivers seat. Also 26x1.75 Gum Wall tyres on their way, Pantha stickers purchased, chrome, paint anodizing, and other 80s spec bling to follow.
  13. First time I've seen this car on matching wheels front to rear. It looks so much better for it. You going to paint it red? I think it will look great.
  14. Not really, it probably helps, I don't know, just wriggle your hand in there.
  15. Glad it ended up in the garage. The first few photos looked like it was off to pick a part.
  16. Nah mate, I came back after tea, got that nasty key out, sharned with everyone else and went home. Was back to work yesterday and family home last night. Who did help put it back together? Well done them! I'll gladly take the credit/Ginger beer in their absence.
  17. You've got a multi point injected one? Use a long thin screw driver to flick the clip off the distributor coming down from the top and twisting the clip. Take the whole cap and leads out at once, you'll have to wriggle your hand up under the intake to get the coil lead off. It's not fun but you can do it!
