  1. Thinking seriously about bringing the Oliver along, what's required to get in and is there enough room to park a ute and trailer out of the way?
  2. Not favourable. When I was leaving I almost drove through the sandwiches and tea area, many many disapproving looks were metered out. Edit. Barry on the left in the sharn pic liked the star. He said it made it stand out and was amazed what an effective muffler it was.
  3. The Mcleans Island Vintage machinery club had its annual show this weekend just gone, It seemed rude not to attend. Ill post pics here, in the tractor thread, and or in the wombling Barry thread. In the show, standing proud Pushed some dirt. Had some sharns.

See what an EF Falcon has to offer.
  5. Have a look, it's cheap insurance. I'll pass on the bike thanks.
  6. Haha, thanks but no. Does it have 28x1/2 wheels? Have a look behind the filter housing, if it does have an oil cooler it's a great place for bits of old bearing to sit then go through your new bearings once it's running again.
  7. People do all kinds of weird shit, they probably took the turbo off, forgot to plug the hole and went for a drive. Is that an oil cooler behind the filter housing?
  8. Master cylinder drawing air in around the seals at the pushrod end.
  9. Thanks Harry, I ended up getting one out of a Golf Will owned. I finished that elevator but the photos died when I deleted them off my old phone.
  10. Yes, I swapped the gearbox as well. I put a wide block turbo motor and box into a ute that was narrow block non turbo. The turbo motor and box was a hydraulic clutch where as the ute was cable. Have you tried to fit the driveshaft to your turbo gearbox? Sometimes it can be a bit of an optical illusion, there is a good chance that you can dismantle the drive shaft cross and fit a turbo yoke onto your drive shaft. Failing that you'll need to get a custom driveshaft made up.
  11. I swapped a G63b turbo into an l200 ute years ago, it all fitted onto the stock 4G63 mounts and accepted the stock drive shaft. The only problem was converting from a cable clutch to hydraulic. I couldn't say about the HP figures.
  12. @moparmuppet Bit more detail here.
  13. I finished making this slightly cool block lifter for my log splitter this afternoon. As per it's scrap steel and bits out of the bin. Works great. @moparmuppet let's see a picture of your log splitter, I couldn't picture it when you described it in the trade me thread.
  14. I'm confident this will have adjustable tappets. It would pay to check them. Good luck and gods speed.
  15. Has it got good strong spark? Are the plugs clean and new? Is the battery in good condition and fully charged? Try and squirt a small amount of fuel into the intake and see if it will fire.
  16. What's that with the big mud tyres in the background?
  17. Recaros, yes! Its mandatory that they smell if weed, port royal, and pink nosed pitty cross puppies. Can you confirm this is the case?
  18. That's exactly how I planned it, the kids keep asking me to "Adjust the drift Dad"
  19. Hi Jeff, that little spanner is for old bikes, the smallest jaws fit the square headed bolts that hold the chain ring onto the crank. Vaguely related sharn: We had a motor grader at work that had the accelerator pedal to the left of the brake it was made in 1978. The lay out made for some excitement when I learned to drive it.
  20. @Kimjon can you post a bit of a parts list, how much you expect to pay for each item, and where to find them? I have thought an electric one would be good, maybe with a car battery and a starter motor but the speed controller is a bit of a stumbling block
  21. Three 0hms. That's what you need.
