  4. Well, Oldschool Nationals 2015 weekend was a hoot. Those that were there will know. Those that weren't there missed a long weekend of good mates, sweet roads (including gravel), hooning, boozing, yahooing. Holy hell was I surprised when prize-giving rolled around on Saturday night and the Eterna picked up Best Sedan. Shit the bed! There was a heap of other sweet Sedans there and it is honor to get the award. After driving the hell out of the car here is how it sits in the garage.
  5. One of the best driving experiences was driving my car behind this. Tairua to Coroglen. No fucks were given. Hammer down. Ed also offered me the keys and I drove the RX7 from Wangamata to Tairua. This thing drives soooo nice. Well done on sorting a sweet sweet car. I had a hard time not blipping the throttle on every gear change, due to the rad noises it makes. Power delivery is silky smooth. No lag on acceleration, just a linear power curve that keeps going. Handling is spot on. Not to hard and definitely not soft. Firm and planted is how it feels. Just like a sportscar should. White 80's Turbos for lyfe. ps. please find that annoying 'your going over 100kph' bell and burn it.

  8. Weird, have a read here http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=43&pcid=7 they seem to think its mint for synchros. I so confused now.
  9. Ok, first off my gearbox in the Eterna is mint around town, open road and everyday driving. But on the dragstrip 3rd gear is impossible to select without doubling the clutch. Once reved out in 2nd, I try for 3rd and its just not there. With the Oldschool Dragday coming up, I should really attempt to sort it. I am waaaaaaaaay to lazy to pull the box out and re-do the synchros. So I am tossing up putting some Redline MT90 or Lightweight Shockproof in there to see if that does the trick. MT90 seems better for synchros or would the Lightweight Shockproof be better suited? If I sort this out, hopefully my car will run a quicker time than my scooter. lols. Thoughts?

  11. Double check that you actually need a driveshaft hoop with your certifier. My car didnt need one because it was the original engine with minor mods and im not making a buzzillion whores powers.
  12. That crackling sound was wack. It sooo sounded like an electrical arc. And seemed to go hand in hand with the electrical issue. And emitted from down by the alternator. Good luck on the dyno tomorrow princess.

  14. I think you should change the pulley to a standard ratio and eliminate that. Also, warm Coronas are the best Coronas.
