  1. how much room have ya got? if your guna shag round adapting something your better off going for a sidedraft weber or bike carbs or something . dcoes are way easier to jet once installed. bit more fucking round with manifolds is all.

  9. you guys must of had different hunters to the three iv owned, 140ish would be screaming their tits off, got 100mph down a nassive hill in my last one and it biffed a rod lol. 200kph is hard to imagine for a modded one let alone a standard issue beast. twin alpine stromberg carbs are a nice easy swap i believe? dunno if they would make a large difference.
  10. i made a few mufflers for rotaries years ago, all stainless straight thru type, bought a whole lot of cheap stainless dish scrubs and sort of stretched them into donuts over the perforated core, then packed the rest with fibreglass mat. worked well and lasted way longer than all the glasspack only ones .

    Cam selection

    kpr is probably the man to ask . if you are going for decent revs/cams you will proly want to do a shim under bucket conversion. what other mods you doing ? rev limit? compression ratio will need to be changed depending on duration and duration will depend on what rpm you want your power to be made at etc
  14. from memory the throttle body was a two stage affair with one tiny butterfly and one slightly less tiny one?
  15. done a series one city turbo up for the ex mrs bout 14 years ago, s4 rx7 intercooler front mounted, bov off the same car, 2.5' stainless exhaust front to back, screamer pipe, 13psi. (fuel cut at 15) thing was a fucking animal, used to peel out crxs and fxgts back in the day. was ultra reliable too , had a brutal hiding and all i ever broke was the clutch, and it was just worn out. was great fun blowing the doors off stuff while keeping that 'ethel and mavis off to bingo night' feel. .
  16. you will struggle to get that out of a wee 3k, perhaps put a 5 or 7k in it?

  19. i got a few mates that arent os members but have old toyotas and such and would be keen.
  20. how long are you keeping it? if its any length ot time just replace everything . time and time again i get cheap arse customers that dont replace water pump/oil seals etc while we are in there , and come back 20k later complaining of a water / oil leak etc . i note on all invoices for cambelts what parts werent replaced when recommended just to save arguments later.
