accuired a few goodies next job bare metal the diff and give a fresh lick of paint then assemble after making front adjusties and possible alterations to rears. any suggestions for adjusties? cheers

stripping and painting has started. new tierod ends and ball joints etc. slow progress, just need to buy a few goodies to get it back on the ground and waiting on diff/rear suspension! sorted all black racepros with brackets and univerals sliding rails too. ones away getting repaired. also scored two b45 simmons to restore, coming along nicely. last update for awhile, need to save + finish work papers first

pp arrived! looks sweet, needs new seals nd a sump. any 13b sumps out there? started stripping bits almost got everything out just diff to come out tonight

Just went down to local shop that sells carpet and vinyl. More like a variety store than carpet store. Just found the thickness/shaped/flexible carpet I wanted to use. Cheers Yeah wasn't really a fan on the rims personally. Rather modgies for a start and see what happens once its done etc. Yeah not too sure whats going on. Just going off what I was told from the guy that I brought it off.. Will see how good it works when car is running. Think it must be S4 then, looks to be flat mounted from what I can remember. Will double check tonight. Cheers

Yeah will be staying mattblack for abit, depending on funds. Which im getting are going to be low as haha. Looking forward to getting engine assembled and getting it running. Shouldn't be too far away fingers crossed. Cheers for the feedback guys!

quick update. sorted im going to use this S5 box with mx5 internals (polished bell housing) work done by ptech in palmy. better than s1 box engine ordered.. 13BPP should show up this week or next. few little purchases done on w.e to make car little bit more complete and waiting on bits nd pieces in the mail! have some capella hubbies with steelies and tyres. will pop up a pic in rx2/616 parts post on here.

Centrelines gone mr dave. Will chuck up some pics when it was green later tonight. I brought and laid all the carpet myself for less than half the price of buying autodec carpet as last ones I brought I wasn't 100% happy with how it sat/being a tightass. Haha

Respray, at this stage in gloss black. But will see as time comes closer to panel/paint work gets done. Yeah wasn't a fan, mods are just for a start, will look at something else down the track. Rather have it going for a start. Engine is purchased, follow thread for updates.

discussion: //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/44424-hulses-1973-616rx2-discussion/ ended up swapping this for my 13bt starlet. always wanted an rx2 so this is the second best thing a 616 conversion. looks the part and its certed so not worried! old owner had owned it for 5ish years, brought it from wellington when it was lime green on modgies with a 12a. since then it has been sprayed matt black (primer) and had done a 13b turbo conversion on it. then motor blew up on dyno so I ended up with it rolling body.. plans are: 13bpp panel/paint - gloss black black racepros tidy black factory interior 14' mods with 195/45s suspension/brake upgrade diff/gearbox upgrade etc.. heres a couple pics when previous owner had it now comes the start of the build.. got it home, sold the rims, seats and have been slowly getting been getting little pieces together for it. stripped interior etc now started working slowly few pics will update within next few days.. pics give rough idea on whats been done in last 2 weeks
