I am doing a late run (around 10.30am) up, out of Te Atatu North

Over the weekend I got the head deck in, and the 6x9s running, they'll do for now because mounting the fronts is gonna be a prick. I'm putting the woofers under the dash and putting the tweeters up under the headlining but need to make a special mount for the woofers coz they're heavy and room is scarce. For such a huge car there's f.all room for stuff. Based on sound so far, will probably can them later on. Of course that's after cutting a hole in the parcel tray... Also apprehensive about putting holes through my firewall so ppussied out on connecting up the amp.

Yeah that makes sense too. Mono because of soundstaging. Want stuff to sound like it's in the right spot so those will fill without fucking stereo effect? Front amping makes sense too. Probably a better idea for sound hierarchy. Thanks.

So, i've assembled a bit of this and that stereo wise and am about to put into my Galaxie. The main stumbling bit i want sense checked is filling the two factory 6x9 slots. My plan is to run them both mono, as such i plan wiring them up as shown on the diagram. Will it work? Amps will run off the head deck pre-outs. Front speakers from the head deck speakers. Does the rest of my plan make sense? Thank you very much.

Funny I was looking at those hotwires the other day and then territory turbo searching this morning after reading this thread noticed it was the same vendor. both of those things would make my xb perfect. so much tyrekick right now.

i love the idea of putting one in my xb, much cooler than a V8, but the price, and cutting up a low kms grandad spec car puts me off.

Bags the pre-xflow if/when you go that way. I just binned a 4.1 block and bits month or so ago, was suitable for a rebuild, stink luck.
