Took her to the tuners/got a compression test. Cylinder 1 and 6 are at about 31, when they all should be around 21. So I'll need new piston rings/valve stem seals etc. In the near future.

Figured I'd been around here awhile now, may as well post something. Here goes, this how I got her: They always look good in photos, went and had a look. Loved it, ignored all the faults of course. Had the interior completely out (no pix) found a "can" wedged in the door card She stopped running completely for awhile, had to re-solder a couple wires and it was away again. Then it threw the water pump bearing, replaced now. So It's mainly the body rust that I've been up to lately. Took out a hole the size of a small shoe from the drivers door Pictures to follow as I upload/resize them. The automatic gear box. It slips gears. So it misses and just rev's like all hell. So when that happens I need to baby it back into gear.

Yea it is good. Sadly I can't really have mine on too loud, gotta keep an ear free in case the auto box slips haha.

I grinned from ear to ear at your speaker boxes Kicker's a good choice. I just finished installing boschmann tweeters in the merc this morning. Sounding good. Had to tune it all to match the bloody sub/6x9's etc. I've got these ratty old kenwood 6x9's that came with the car. Swapped them with fusions, but the old ones sounded better so put them back Encounter stuff blows.

Have a similar thing going on with the merc. The master cylinder fucked out after an epic brake slam to save my life. Replaced rubbers, it just leaked everywhere. So it's off being re-sleeved now. Fingers crossed. Hope you figure yours out man. (Sorry no real help, just ranting.)
