its supposed to be 0.3mm to 0.4mm when the points are fully open. You can use a feeler gauge but its hard with the magnets in the flywheel. Get a timing light, hook it up to a 12v battery to power the light and then put it on the spark plug lead. There should be a mark on the flywheel and another on the casing somewhere (probably the top). See where it is reading and then adjust the point gap until the two marks line up perfectly. It only needs to be adjusted the tiniest amount when trying to line the timing marks up.

My friend bought an eagle mask, hardtop, factory gold and brown paint, factory turbo for $500 about 10 years ago.I remember putting cheerios 13 inch gold hot wires and eagers on it. Just came across your thread. Coolest ke30 in NZ by far!! Polished lip with silver centres would look cool. Although it sounds a bit plain everyone is painting their rims all sorts of crazy colours these days which is getting a bit old. Simple colours and let the width and fitment be the stand out point. Just my two cents though its your car!

Iv got a spare factory airbox if you want it they are pretty big and ugly though will make it look shit. also is your choke hooked up? Mine wont start without choke unless its warm.

try and find a factory airbox to try mine wont run without the factory filter on.
