  1. Works a bitch till xmas so i'm out, but keen as for a Jan BBQ!
  2. If you have no luck, and it's a steel screw, you could weld a nut on the top of it. (can do it in hornby)
  3. Sounds like there will be no one there haha. I'm bailing and might go watch the downhill instead. Totally forgot that was this weekend!
  4. Bling

    CNC rates

Just have a plate as the base, and glue skateboard deck grip on it, which is laser cut. Boom, foot design, and you won't slip off the pedal when you hit vtec y0.
  5. Just set it up with a pull start. /just realised I was beaten to it.
  6. Room for a scissor jack in behind? Could help push it out a bit.
  7. Whys that? Took my Corolla there the other week no issues. The older guy with the hot v8 jammed into a MK2 Cortina (99% sure, I didn't get too nosey, had a good yarn about the Corolla / and his Cortina. Young dude was loving it too. I take everything there, no problems yet with their service. Pick a quiet time and you can just roll straight in and no waiting.
  8. Oh my. Pretty Ken to head down one year!
  9. Add more clips, possible problem solved. Or just research whether the distance requirements are the same between battery cable mentioned previously, and the fuel line you're talking about.
  10. I don't get out of bed for less than 10,000 volts. Piezo ignition FTW
  11. I just remembered I can probably borrow a round BBQ so we can just do our own thing if someone else has one too. The one I can borrow is "does the job on a good day" spec.
  12. Show weekend is ~15th, well I checked the work schedule today to see 14th is a day off.
  13. Will do my best to make it either weekend/week night.
  14. Keen for a Groynes (still open? I see they are doing road works nearby) / Orton Bradley BBQ.
  15. I hope you have a chest of money somewhere you need to get rid of haha. What a beast it must have been back in the day though!
  16. Just park on a hill. May or may not work.* I guess the inlet an outlet pipes will be higher than the cap though so it might be another physics fail.
  17. It's some nice kit alright, pics when it's in!
  18. Not on the wrong sides are they? Left to right.
  19. I have a theory, if it's heavy, it's most likely good. Just try lifting some and see what's what. We have Delonghi everything (combo oven, hob, dishwasher, though not all in one as above) and they are ~8 years old now with no issues with anything. Would buy again. Another way to spot a cheap unit IMO, is the gas hob won't have thermocouples (safety cut outs). It will just have an electrode for the spark, and nothing else. Below shows the thermocouple at the top, and sparking electrode thingy (brain is off for the night) below it. I wouldn't (and you certainly shouldn't in a small place) buy one without thermocouples. What sort of cubic Neds area have you got for the kitchen/anywhere open permanently to the kitchen? If you can work that out, I can tell you the max input rating you can have for a gas hob before you need permanent ventilation etc. /whoever installs it can suss that I guess.
  20. I'm no tyre guy, but if you want me to give it a shot, just drop it off to either wigram or hornby and i'll give it a crack. It can't be that hard can it? Just a whole lot of lube, straining and panting and the job should be done. I'll try fit the tyre as well.
  21. I have one of these, which I assume is all that's needed to pull the valve into the rim. http://www.tyre-equipment.co.uk/acatalog/30713.JPG
  22. I have a bunch of car tyre irons if it's a DIY'able thing?
