  2. If there was a big storm and the roof wasn't fixed down then you could lose it. That's probably what the concern would be.
  3. Fuck you NI cunts are weak, weather was tropical! If you got cold all you needed to do was remove your pants and stand around the fire
  4. Yeah that's not silly actually. Start with it on its end, then as you drag the bottom end towards the lines lower the top end gradually.
  5. Temporarily dismantle corner of garage? Bring it through the garage?
  6. You should totally not turn up for it.... But then it wouldn't get done.

  13. Oh if that's the case (and it turned off when the headlights were turned on) then it sounds like the headlight relay was wired as the radio ground. As for it to die, well maybe you did get reverse polarity for a second?, as in you lost the radio power momentarily while the headlights were on Another possibility is that with the headlights on there was a very small potential difference between power and ground, like 14.5 volts on the power wire and 13.8 volts on the ground wire resulting in a potential of 0.7 volts which caused the electronics to switch on and off rapidly and eventually caused something to fail.
  14. Your "headlight" wire that was wired in to the head unit must have been the headlight relay output, which makes sense. But for electricity to work there has to be a potential difference over a circuit. For arguments sake putting 12V on the ground wire while it was powered on shouldn't do anything except power down the radio, unless the radio power wire was at zero volts and there was no reverse polarity protection. To be honest it sounds like it was wired correctly but the back lighting circuit of the radio just bit the dust. Must have been a cheapie radio for it to die like that.
  15. Wat... That's not how electrickery works. Unless the wire has resistance in it and is grounded at the alternator lol
  16. Yeah thats what NZ herald thought when they decided to run a test a few years back. They opened an account with $50 in it, put the account name and number details in the paper, and said if anyone could "steal" it they could have it. The $50 disappeared within hours. /Spam
  17. probably wouldn't broadcast that all over the net Ed, just PM it to people edit: and I might be keen last minute, but don't reserve a spot for me, plenty of accom in qtown etc
  18. $189 for a 3 day pass, or $59 single day pass for Friday or Saturday, $79 for Sunday
  19. Yeah pinewood is legit, those self contained units are sweet for getting on the sauce in and walking distance to town also. Plus there are always hot foreign chicks in the common room. If you fill up the room bed wise others can just stay in the hostel parts of the place.
