  1. Hi guys, looks like we are sorted but appreciate the response and will keep in mind, cheers!
  2. So it's not exactly for a car, but we need someone with a good camera and reasonable skills to take a photo of someone in a bath filled with bubbles. It is going to be used on posters to advertise for a concert. The shoot will take place in Gordonton and will only take about an hour. Fee is negotiable. Ideally it will take place on a Saturday morning while it is sunny. Anyone interested or know of anyone? Cheers!
  3. Oooh smashing. This actually works out. Will also be hairdrying it there, complete with ecoboost.
  4. So I'm basically going to be one of "those guys" because an old friend is visiting this evening and I have to bail. Gah, sorry guys. Sighface.
  5. as in tommorrow? Im pretty keen actually, but I would have to show up in my mundane-o
  6. Unfortunately it is well past the negotiation stage, and I'm not starting for a couple weeks. But like I said it's not off the cards, I shall do what I can to attend of course! At least I don't have a callout roster to contend with in the new chob.
  7. Booo. Unlikely that I will come because I am changing employment soon, I'll still be in my 3 month trial period. It would have to be a last minute thing. Would Fucken love to come though.
  8. TLDR - but there are many ways to skin a cat. It sound like you want a custom relationship between input signal and output? Could be hard to do with analogue electronics. If it was somewhat linear or exponential that you wanted then it could be achieved with transistors or amplifier circuits. But the way I would do it is with a microprocessor, then it is infinitely customisable and you could set up any relationship you want. I'll happily make up a circuit for you if you can decide decide what you want, piece of cake.
  9. You are in luck, I have a windscreen in my garage for an h230 260c sedan....
  10. Nobody has suggested digging an underground tunnel and bringing it from underneath. Seriously manu hurry up and crane that fucker in and post about it and we can move on from this nonsense!
  11. Just take it away piece by piece shawshank style. Handful in the sock each day and deposit it on the ground at work.
  12. Yep agree. I may go try catch some of these salmon off bluff wharf on Saturday morning or Sunday morning too. Just let me know when you feel like going
  13. Yep fo sho. Which day, or both? Only thing is that I'm on call so need an exit strategy incase I get called out.
  14. Likewise. I'm back at about 7 tonight, should we go on a man date to squabble over shizzl's worldly possessions and fight to the death.
  15. Pretty keen. Yep I'm on my second shitty repco one which is suffering the same condition as the first where it just stops darkening even though it had new battery.
  16. Might just have to come check the stuff out next weekend. I'm not back till tomorrow night. Sweet, what brand is the helmet.
  17. Probably one of the welding helmet too if any are decent cause mine is shit
  18. I am quite likely keen on some of it, quite possibly the red tool chest and trolley, one of the angle grinders, spring compressors, that g clamp, maybe vice and other stuff. Can I come round and check some of it out? Chur
  19. Perhaps, but what I mean is that the tolerances of the components and wires etc they used from factory must have been pretty tight if a couple of longer wires makes it read incorrectly.
  20. Yeah it sounds like it's just some kind of voltage divider, so what you really need to do is increase the resistance on the other side of the divider. That's going to be easier than decreasing resistance on the sense side. Edit: still, seems strange that a few ohms of cable can make such a difference. I wonder how they tuned them from the factory.
  21. Sounds like a plan, I'll bail you up next week.
