Yeah I would be looking into why the light is on. You may need to fool the ecu into thinking the trans is still there and everything is normal.
-
Nah you can see his tail lights in his avatar. Also JZA70 is a facelift only model.
-
I've never met anyone who would argue the virtues of a prefacelift over a facelift a70.
-
The early half of the production run on these is pretty fucking yuck. I also enjoy a facelift A70. Say no to blue or maroon interiors. Narrow body also gross, t top - gross, pre facelift tail lights - gross. Factory wheel fitment on widebody - gross. 7MGTE - gross.

E34 love. Mines up to 108,000. Where did you source the arms and shocks? I very nearly bought a 525i touring that was manual also, great cars!

Toyotas have different senders in tank between digi and non

Yeah I just read it again, feeds power directly into the gearbox: TurbocompoundingTurbocompounding relies on utilising a larger proportion of the heat energy in the exhaust gases by means of a power turbine 1. The power turbine is located in the exhaust pipe downstream from turbocharger 2 and the exhaust brake. The power turbine is of the same type as the one in the turbocharger. The exhaust gases from the engine propel the turbocharger turbine at high speed while the compressor side of the turbocharger supplies air to the combustion process. The exhaust gases pass the exhaust brake and continue to the power turbine in the turbocompound unit, which rotates at a speed of approximately 50,000 rpm. The power is transmitted via the gear 3 to a hydraulic coupling 4, which evens out speed variations between the turbocompound unit output shaft and the crankshaft. Via another set of gears consisting of a hydraulic coupling gear, an intermediate gear and a crankshaft gear, the power is then transmitted to the engine flywheel 5 and on to the gearbox . In comparison to a conventional engine, turbocompounding offers a number of advantages. The output and the torque is higher and the fuel consumption is lower in comparison to an identical engine without a turbocompound unit.

I read the blurb on Scanias turbo compound unit and it has a geardriven unit that works off've the crank additional to the turbo. Would you guys like to read it? I have access to the service info on my laptop.

Heck yes. I can likely assist with part diagrams and/or parts if you're feeling like you need to go genuine.

This is a problem on shitty y series toyota engines. Makes them do wees into cylinder. Not so annoying on a shitty engine in a forklift/hilux but could be a pain for you.

Purple rain?

Haven't come across those either! This is really really great.

I used that foam recently. It's easy to cut with a sharp blade. Very horrible and sticky before it's dry though. You might want to consider using polystyrene or similar and shaping with a hot wire cutter which can be knocked up out of bits from jaycar.

Name and shame man. That has dodgy all over it

Ha my brain read that as www.shitislandbearings.co.nz

Ha such an out of nowhere. Dang

Neutral colours but with nice white accents on doors/frames etc. World's smallest mansion is the theme that comes to mind haha
-
Colour scheme is very tropical. I'm going with more classical colour scheme. I've got a couple of old as porch lights, the large opalescent sphere with chrome bases. Look really nice, have a ivory sort of colour one that is a bit more classic but using ultra white ones that look more modern.

I had a silvertop 4age that wouldn't start and all that was stopping it from running was the dizzy cap and rotor. Doesn't sound like your problem but it only takes 1 small thing to stop the motor from not starting, if you've got other things dragging their feet it just makes it even harder.
-
I've had a bnt hyd tensioner die on me before. Checking marks shouldn't take you long. Just remove top half, line up dots on cam gears and tdc on lower cover to crank pulley Blacktop very definitely interference. Only 4age that is

The one I sold him? I have another one under my desk

Is the other surface just flat like that too? If they aren't dead flat I'd imagine Rhys is on the money with premium amounts of sealants.

Don't these run a pair of sealing rings rather than a gasket? Atleast thats what I remember fell out of the ae101 I stripped last year. Ala:
