pussy
The DX wagon I followed over the Summit Rd last cruise had biscuits on the back and had some serious crabbing action going on as it drove down the road - scary shit
Looks like I'll be joining the convoy in the 12, although if Bubblegoose's claims of oil, fuel and water usage are true, I would much prefer to be in front of him lol.
Roll out the good weather somebody cause it's too fuckin cold today for January
I would be willing to bet it's the shitty design of the switchgear. Every month or so I have to remove my headlight stalk and bend the copper fingers that switch the headlights on and off so that the contacts make and break properly (I had to make a little tool to do this)
Yeh no worries man, just credit the photos/link to Flickr and I'll be happy.
As you may be able to tell I was quite fixated with the pristine LHD 510 BRE replica!
It was an epic day, thanks to all the Datsun guys for accommodating a Nissan owner... It was good to meet some of the crossover O/S crew as well.
I have a collection of photos, should I post some up?
Edit: In respect of owners' privacy I should really edit out licence plates.
Will post tomorrow as I have already spent too much time processing the RAW files tonight...
I would possibly have been going over to support my gf's bro in the street races/take photos etc, but will most likely be joining the Datsun crew since his engine seized...
1 Find and use a drill press if you can - a hand drill is going to be tricky to control
2 Not too much pressure - you're not drilling steel or wood
3 Keep it cool (spray water or a light dribble from a hose while drilling)
4 Consider drilling from the other side when you're nearly through to reduce the chance of chipping, or reduce the pressure to almost nothing.
5 Profit
Bear in mind that a diamond bit is less like a drill bit and more like a dremel - the goal is to let the bit grind it's way through the glass rather than applying pressure, so don't rush.
If you're not confident, you could just try a glazing company of reputable name?
