  4. Why do you guys all think it's the diodes? All the diodes do is rectify the ac to DC. And if the alternator isn't spinning, there is no AC. I'm not an alternator man, but I would look at the reg before looking at the diode pack tbh...

  6. The first video i posted, from outside, is the legitimate first time it was cranked with all the new EFI gear attached. Only caught the end of it at the very start of the video

Has been flashed with latest version from the website (unsure what rev number that was though) Just make sure the valves open and close as you'd expect in regards to TDC etc? only way you get constant flames like that is when the intake ports are still popen when it fires, and the timing light seems to say its legit, so wouldnt hurt to check the cam. Cam (the person) said he's gonna use my scope to check for noise properly to rule that out, and then set the base timing with the plugs out so it cranks nice and quick. and go from there? Might pay to find a dial gauge?
  8. firing order is sweet (1, 4 and 2, 3 together for wasted spark), and timing appears sweet (enough). Pete is pulling the rocker cover off to check cam timing, as we're lost for ideas at this point

  14. So pretty sure Dave's car is just drawing heaps of current. More than what the alternator can deliver and that's why its not charging... And it works while col, as all the cooling devices are off at that point

If we disconnect that lead, the clam meter says were drawing 26a from the battery at idle and 36 with revs. That's all I have time to post, be back soon
  16. Chilly bin has welded on wheels and i wish we never did that. SUCH a cunt for serviceability
  17. on the chilly bin, the sprocket and the brake disc are key wayed on (with 5mm key) and can lock up wheels with the brake etc and no problems at all. Thats with 6.5 HP so not sure what you're looking at.
