  10. awesome stuff, out of curiosity as i have never seen it - offset grinding on these machines, do you do disconnect the leadscrew and connect a link bar from another rod journal, or do you have to make a plate with offset centers for each end of the crank to run it between centers? or some other magic? i have been thinking about doing it in a really shitty manner with offset center plate and a toolpost grinder..
  11. man i gave up trying to measure it and just cross sectioned a block with a saw to check properly, i worried that the roughness of the casting was accounting for too much of the reading when allready on the "limit" there are some interesting posts i think on jolopy journal talking about some dude building (successful) v8 drag motors and after years of running the same combo he measured the walls and they were paper thin like 2mm and down to 1 at the bottom

  16. useless post - just incase you were going to get a replacement rear housing, beware that the integral vband flange on the no wastegate version of the hx35 is a weirdo and you have to machine it to fit a normal 3" vband clamp, its easy but not a easy win.
