I turned an adaptor for mine, just had to bore internally using the compound. Stuck it on with loctite 609 and it was sweet.

Yep, 3.9 will bolt in place of 3.5 Though I recommend getting a 4.6 instead, they were the best in terms of not slipping liners and having the most power.

Had plenty of trouble free adventures off road in this thing, it's always got me home and sounds rad with the new exhaust. I've even fixed the latest electrical issues and the battery holds a charge now. But with a new rig, it's time for this to go. It comes with a parts truck of the same vintage minus motor and gearbox.
