Scooters are cool.

Holy moly so much more work has gone on since whenever that was. Dave very kindly made me another shaft with universals as the cv joints were doing lol things. Front wheels done. Replaced various electrical tape seals with red silicone. Drilled hole in water pump housing and put the two speed fan switch in, it works perfectly. Bought new vw golf front inserts and made new front coilovers with 5kg springs and camber plates. So many other things I've forgotten. The only pic I have is of the gear knob I made, so there you are. Wof, reg, Brep Brep.

Cut it with a concrete saw/ 9" grinder

I have 5kg front springs in my KP with 13b, it rides great

Mine would only run decent on 98

That's a BMW maaayyyn, usually plenty of them to choose from at zebra.

Mine had the crappy running at low throttle and occasional miss at cruising speed. I ran it on 98, replaced leads/plugs/dizzy cap/rotor, did a trackday at taupo, replaced the o2 sensor, advanced the timing, fiddled with the tps, hit rev limiter everyday and it still ran the same. I was going to try a new coil next but sold it instead.

OK so heaps of work was done to this before I left Napier. Pulled carbs apart and gave them a good clean out. New clutch, completely disassembled gearbox and cleaned out and filled with new fluid. New front brake switch. Rode around for awhile but now I'm moving again and I don't feel like taking it with me. It runs great and you should buy it.

I've had to pull apart the gun a few times to clean out the venturi.

I can't find anything about zinc plating cast or forged parts but it looks kind of interesting so I'll have a look later.
