  1. It would only need to be the same height as the top of the bumper so no different opening and closing as when the bike was on (obviously if towing a trailer that would be connected first.)
  2. It's cool man but I reckon you could set the horizontals up so it sits above the towball that way you could tow a trailer as well as have that on, for extra load carrying awesomeness! Like this __/¯¯ Also put some gussets under the section below the mesh platform. Also also, if you laid the mesh on top and ran the slide ins through the centre of the box you could weld some angle on the bottom that you stow two lengths of smaller box that you could use as a ramp for pushing them up.
  3. How I've removed screens before is to get some white spirits, cut the edge of the sealant enough to get some liquid in further and pour the spirits around the screen edges, it will slowly turn the sealant to a goop, it may take a few applications and a few wee slices but there's less likelihood of there being too much pressure at a point where you put some wire or some such through and end up chipping or cracking the screen.
  4. That's a good a news a. Noice. 3" exhaust?
  5. Jesustittyfuckingchrist, that is beyond sick. Fuck that looks good. Nice work man.
  6. Big block Ford V8 would be easier than a water pump? Well.. ..maybe not. Neat though.
  7. Nah. Wait for me to buy get an M119 6.0 for my SLC and use my M117 4.5 in this. ...alternatively, https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/mercedesbenz/auction-1558601460.htm
  8. Shouldn't the V12 be going in this? Surely it is?
  9. Plastic trim retainer/plug, boss man A few on here, measure the ID and OD required. https://basisnz.co.nz/collections/body-hardware
  10. I'm glad you're taking the time to put a proper deck on it.
  11. You do realise you've just conducted a more modern and expensive version of chicken wire, newspaper and filler, right? It would probably work OK if you cut the rusted sections out, made replacement steel to fit the holes potentially panel-bonded it in then backed it with the glass. I mean, it's neat buuuuuuuuuuuut, still think it's gonna rott tharrrrr
  12. You probably want to change the title of this thread.
  13. Just offer grotti some bourbon atop payment. You'll be golden.
  14. Good bad news though. Maybe I should have just whipped the whole head off this one instead of just the cam. If you need it though, it's there.
  15. Seedys mother is the expert on head. Maybe give her a call?
  16. Yeah it probably would but it might depend on how out or bad that cylinder is. I was just putting it forth as an option. Made sense in my head but less so if it's one particular dead cylinder.
  17. Could this not all relate back to correct cam timing for the one you replaced? If that was off and your valves were opening incorrectly you'd suffer the lack of compression as well as not being able to time the injector pump accurately?
  18. Lawrence is an interesting choice. Any particular reason? Not saying it's a bad thing at all, just strange unless there was a specific lure.
  19. How often are you changing wheels? Make sure your rims are hubcentric and you should be ok, otherwise balance the wheel on your foot to line it up or if that's too taxing get a shovel and use that as leverage.
