  1. Yeah, just take a mean macro shot of the data/chassis plate in the engine bay and if the numbers aren't legible then just write them down for me. Will let you know the deal on the round-lamp stuff tomorrow or the next day man. Nah, I don't think Matt sold the GTS-t until after he moved again, but still.. was a pretty good deal on the car, still going well I hope? Wasn't exactly done up in a cosmetic style I like (ither than the kit) but the car itself went well. Basically take as many decent quality shots as you can. A nice complete shot of the car would be sweet too. All those ones you put up are crazy angled detail shots Would love to get your C210/11 (being C211 is the facelift code and if you're changing back to round-lamp it'll cosmetically be a C210) and my C110 side by side for a few shots once mines back on the road.
  2. Surely if you enjoy carting people around then eliminating a whole seat space would be a bad idea? Also, if you do it, please don't do it in white.
  3. Wait! That's Matt's old 32 GTS-t to the right of that shot.
  4. MEEEEAN, love you long time.
  5. Oh, and I have a few bits and pieces for a quad round lamp, will be tidying some of my brother's sheds up this week so will let you know what there is, (off the top of my head, grille, lamp buckets, maybe some trim. Though I'm fairly certain there's guard differences too. Also, is yours a sedan or a coupe?
  6. Glad to see you fired up a thread for it. I would say that yours is as it left the factory in L20E format. Though the C211 was the first Skyline to be Turbo-charged, of course not all of them were. It is rare to see a Japanese Nissan Skyline in NZ rather than the exported Datsun Skyline GT though I do recall getting a few pictures from Richard (Snoozin) at one time that showed a few JDM C210/211 rear ends in a scrappers that has since destroyed most it's stock of old cars. Take a close photo of or just tell me the digits on the data plate. That should give enough information to decypher what it came out as from factory just so we can be sure.
  7. No. 1500 = pre-xflow, 1600 = xflow. AFAIA
  8. Did you just brute force it?
  9. Fuck you wouldn't want to see my 110 bill then Spending coin on old cars is the best way to go IMO, if you make the right choices and buy the right stuff you'll have a much sweeter car than you would have if you'd just spent a whole wad on a modern.
  10. @ Title. Sweet dude. Even if you can't get everything done ASAP, definitely hold onto it. I prefer the earlier shape, like stuyizz one as that's what my grandfather rolled for a few years after a pile of Valiants that were his main steeds. Chrysler baby. Just rock the route Phil decided against? 4G63 DOHC Turbo would be pretty tough, nothing on his V6 idea but still not all bad. Afterall, it's not an EX, it's a fucken Sapporo so it's actually a decent car.
  11. The C110 sedan in the foreground looks like it's a lot cooler.
  12. The only thing I can think to do would be to either fab some steel up to fit the gaps or see if there's any at a wreckers and cut out the whole parcel tray then weld the thirds that you need, directly over your mangled one. Your best bet might be to ask the WoF man what would be acceptable though.
  13. No wonder it failed bro. That's not "cut" that's "mutilated"
  14. Rotten Aussie 6 powah ftw! Bart, get a Charger sorted already. Geez!
  15. Pontiac with the Mopar rear stripe.. Hmmm.. I don't think the lines of the car work with it, to be honest.
  16. The parcel tray is structural in most monocoque chassis designs, any interference or cutting of said tray should result in WoF failure.
  17. I would hazard a guess that Lotus may well agree with you in that regard there UJ.
  18. Keen to see confirmation of the Torana's 12.6 please. Fuck that's cool
  19. Ah ok. All gravy then. Not confused anymore.
  20. A bit confused man. What was wrong with a 65k motor? Or nothing and you just wanted to out a CA in?
  21. Also, those gaskets you replaced are exhaust manifold gaskets, not the head gasket. The head gasket sits between the head and the block.
