    Not sure all NTNZ people are up to speed with rego'ing a car with black plates, they wouldn't let me do it. Oh well... white plates it is.

    Would like to drag my parts heap down but if the fuzz is handing out pink stickers to every car i'm not sure they'd appreciate my wagon.

    Couple years back i drove down, spent half an hour watching people drive around the block in camaros getting bored in the process and then rove home again. So you can do a day trip. Or stay awake all night & make a night of it too.

    This is what happened. It became a relic of a bygone era.

    Someone from oldschool trying to free up the starter motor from the flywheel, with the added difficulty that the flywheel is in the sump (it doubles as an oil pump & a form of alternator.)

    New brake lining. It's a bit too thick but i will make it work. Edit: Someone donated me some V12 Lincoln wheel studs to replace those crappy galvanized bolts.

    But are you sure you'll need a diff' & gearbox? Might be something simple to fix.

    Here i see Threeonthetree and some guy who was hanging around the oldschool stand riding on what appears to be a doodlebug tractor.

    i would look at the fuel supply for you but i'm ages away. Possibly just stale gas.

    Not sure i'd be spreading too much underseal on things until it's certed as they may want to make you remove it so they can inspect welds, but then again i may be wrong. i like this car.

    how big a spark? If it was low tension side just need to clean around the dizzy or add am extra wire for earthing.

    Observed this directly today. Fitted ducktail looks better than black generic one with double sided tape sticking out the sides. Very japanese.

    Stiff brush, degreaser is ok, might take a few goes. And rinse with something i found in a drum at work called brake cleaner.

    Oh yeah, when you get your new mirrors.. umm..

    Please no bonnet holes unless you make another one to cut, or 3D print one with the hole already there.

    If anyone can find that dumdum stuff it'd be mighty useful.

    From what i've heard it was more like demented cat lady trying to ruin it for everyone spec', but that's only what i've heard.

    Vinyl wrap works wonders if you don't mind replacing it every year. Simple enough if you like the chrome look.

    But i don't own a car trailer, or a going tow car. Otherwise i would.
