    Moped NZ Caffeine and Classics invasion. 25 FEB - MEET 945AM for 10AM DEPARTURE https://www.facebook.com/events/353814531766629/?ti=icl (Moped NZ Event) Caffeine and Classics is having its 5th anniversary event on the 25th of feburary and I think with that it would be a great time to invade it on mopeds. So remove your mufflers and practice your excessive revving Caffeine and Classics kicks off at 10am, but people usually turn up anytime from 7am and it fills up pretty well. This event being its 5th anniversary may be quite a large turnout. Plan is to meet in the car park for Takapuna golf club on Northcote Road (in picture ) to literally roll from here 500m up the road to smales farm into caffeine and classics as a group to park up. meet at 945am to leave at 10am sharp. Park up, spin yarns, get a coffee, look at stuff and do whatever. More aimed at a hardpark style meet rather than a ride this time. For those of you who don’t know what this event is, here’s a run down from there page. ‘This popular event has grown to become New Zealand's largest monthly vehicle gathering. It's a brunch-style event is held on the last Sunday of each month and is open to all types of classic vehicles. Motorcycles, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, vintage and classic cars are all welcome to come along for a bite to eat and to have a look at the wide variety of vehicles that will be present.’ Have included a link in comments to last months write up/images for you to check out Get your bikes rowdy.     Shouldn’t be getting wet feet from the plenum, I spent too many $$ at a panel beaters getting the wiper cowling /plenum fixed when I owned it

    ST has a fuel tank of 2.5 litres just from memory, I think guypie told me that the fuel tank / oil tank separating bit have failed and it’s all sort of one. run pre mix

    As this is a moped ride, speeds are intended to mostly be around 50kmh, this may creep up to slightly over 60kmh as we get into aerodynamic formations, have tail winds and gravity assistance from declines, these will all be counteracted by any inclines we come across in our travels. Expect speeds to drop below 50 up these. realistically, there will be people with faster bikes who will end up ahead of others, but there will also be slower bikes that will be behind. But there’s enough stops planned frequently enough that no man/woman/non gender specific thing will be left behind. Or your mates shouldn’t be cunts and leave you for dead. There will be people there that will be able to do 55k topped out down a hill. Id personally bring the old bike. This is a cruise not a race. We’re on Mopeds not sports bikes. this is a MOPED cruise - aimed at catering for 50cc mopeds. What I learnt from eastcape is its fucking lush cruising along and taking in all the scenery. But being in the scenery’s not fun.

    Yeah, it’s done by driving the vechile under wide open full load conditions from a cold start all day till you turn it off then repeat the cycle all the time Pretty sure it’s nothing special apart from magic programming of IPC to minimise speedo reading error margins and updated FE1/2 suspension package then it’s just a life time of cold start abuse that makes them go hard 4 wot they r
