  1. and old crud / condensation in fuel filter won't help things.
  2. yip, havn't sorted full plans yet, but need to get my new trailer home.......... even it i have to hire one to top-in-tail it back to Timmers
  3. go and move into my other pad. fully air-conditioned (as in, if it's fucken cold outside, the drafts make it even colder , inside), pet cat on-site (feral as fuck but likes rodents) 7 lawnmowers (on rotation with the neighbours) and clos-ish to Igor......................................... what else could you want for
  4. could be in for a laugh. probably coming down Saturday (weather dependant, still re-roofing house) and could easily stay in either Cromwell or another fine location slightly north or east.
  5. would you install a new set of rings without honing the bores ?
  6. unsure about the Mexicans part, unless the Puerto Ricans copied them. most of the guys on the 3TC forum that Karl Skewes had a hand in starting were either mainland 'Muricans or mad Puerto Ricans
  7. bog off, wouldn't drink DB in a north island pub, let alone one in the same general region as most of the speights ads ever made !! unless a haunted DB has a decent dash of 100YO scotch to make the sickly shit drinkable
  8. whoops, just bought a 10 x 6 do'er upper trailer in Q'Town. don't really wanna go all that way to get it, so prepared to cut a deal with someone who is heading from there to Ranfurly.Meat. alternatively, may have to GOTP with a Q'town crew nite before.
  9. anyone from Q'Town with a tow bar coming to this meet up ?? may have a wee contract that could assist getting any purchases to CHCH etc .
  10. depends how cunty your neighbours are. local council told me i could have a 20 footer in my property for 3 months without a drama, but if a neoghbour complained, it would have to go, or get consented.
  11. heartland make 10 footers out of badly damaged 20's
  12. who cares which 20v it is................. i wanna know how mental the buggy? it's mounted into is.
  13. just a wee problem with the rail connections down these parts. coastal freighting would be the go, as already at LPC?
  14. wonder how far into the thread he would pop up. Ernie lived next door until his passing, and i reckon they were probably Z pistons i dug out of the garden !!
  15. too right. Steves a good cunt, and a fair businessmen
  16. Heartland containers in Timaru have a crew that customise and paint their boxes.
  17. have these for sale if you want something to play around with: could sharpen price if you wanted 2 sets.
  18. only as a temporary repair. No.8 soft wire is far better for permanence.............. WOF inspectors like that !!
  19. what!! no mention of tape and zip-ties ??
  20. i used to run Fuchs in my 5L-E , but i don't reckon the money saved out weigh other oils. for some reason, first oil change on freshly imported Isuzu mid-sized commercials, Fuchs smoked like they were running on coal.
  21. have you priced re-packing the battery cases from the guy in Blenhole that advertises on the Tard ?? i still run most of the 5-piece DeWalt kit i bought 15 years ago, still get good runtime out of the ni-cads that came with the replacement drill i got 5-6 years ago, adittedly, i havent thrashed them daily , all day for 2 years, but they still get a workout daily
  22. ususally smaller pump creates more water as the motor is constantly running, generating heat that then condenses into water in the tank. fucked the finish on several furniture/ joinery items due to running small direct drive compressors way back in the day. i use my trusty Ingersoll Rand 16cfm for everything now
  23. spot prime with wee compressor, but do the full top coats with decent (12CFM +) compressor, even it you have to borrow/hire you won't regret it. wee compressors with wee tanks create to much water and will screw your paint ( even with water trap)
  24. by rights, that cylinder pictured should have 2 lines connected to it, due to the outward shape of the seat to suit the fares on pipe ends. bleed nipples usually go into convex seat
