Well! its been Fucking ages since I last updated this. still no WOF no Reg no nothin!... such a shame... well not quite on the 2nd of May I got married. so I trailered this up to Lake Ohau for our wedding. where both this and my Brother inlaws HZ suffered from overheating problems so they were more just there for show than anything else for the rest of May I tried to figure out why it kept overheating turns out it was a BHG more on that later cheers guys -

that shot of your trans covered in grime made me giggle. When i yanked my engine and trans out the trimatic auto was covered in crud almost as bad as yours. but yours takes the cake! -

LSD!!! Nice I'm rolling a single pegged but am looking for a 3:36 ratio for sum up and go
-
it varies I paid $120 for a sump and pickup 4 years ago and the pickup was shagged. Just gotta keep an eye out I suppose and jump on a deal where you dont feel like you are being ripped.
-
For the diff a late 90's/00's chev blazer diff could be the go as the are quite narrow and disk braked plus they run a 3.45 ratio And Chevy/HQ stud pattern

Giggity giggity! Looking forward to seeing this thing progress. so much lush. nothing beats rumbling along at 90kph with the 308 singing away 1950rpm while leaning back in your Luxuriosly Appointed couch. and the air chief blasting some tunes. Note: My 308 does this rpm at 90-100kph due to the 2.60:1 open diff (traumatic equiped) dunno what yours would do! whats your bango diff ratio?
