felixx
So I am thinking of a mid winter kid friendly camp early july. Somewhere within an hour of town Could involve my sisters farm at hawarden or a camp fire friendly site Who is keen? Kids not compulsory but a kid friendly attitude is. NickJ
Yip, sitting round a camp fire with a few brews sounds like a good idea, chance of bunnies to shoot for supper would be nice too

felixx
Cool.. Feel free to post ideas of a location. Mof, I am kinda leaning towards your old mates place if the farm falls thru. (Unsure about fires) Other options include Hawdon Shelter or Lake Pearson or okuti valley, but Chris you have already been there with your family so thinking somewhere new
Chris.QCR
Yeah Hawdon Shelter is ideal and yeah Okuti Valley is perfect with plenty of stuff for kids to do. Anywhere with a playground for the kids is ideal really. Gutted i missed the last one but will make sure im at the next
Mof
There is a campfire spot, flushing toilet, now a sandpit in a tractor tyre, and a flying fox. The last 20-30m of the track in is not super low car friendly though (dirt track). I'm probably over imagining how much though. I can ring him for you if you like when we sort out date etc
felixx
Im doing a Daddy Camp with another group of mates this weekend at Kidson Lodge, near the Hawdon Shelter this weekend. I will post pics of this location.
