UTERUS
I used redline lightweight shockproof and my gearbox ran so smooth

Yowzer
Holy shit night and day difference between oils! Crazy shit. If the Redline stuff is even better than the Penrite goop I'm sold already.
Raizer
Which Penrite oil is it? I'm running Fuchs in my van and struggle to get second gear before it warms up. /Prob fucked box
Yowzer
This goop. The shifter feels a hell of a lot freer than with the Fuchs stuff I had in before. Pops into gear so much easier now.
SiRge
Redline shockproof, heard many many people swear by it.
Raizer
Mint as, will give it a go too. Most mornings it's a case of 1st, try for 2nd, try for second, 1st, floor it, 3rd. After a few blocks it's sweet as though.
CaMpylobacter
My old l300 was always like that. So was pajero. Try doing a change with the correct viscosity shit. Made a difference with both although both weren't amazing for cold shifting. Column shift aplifies the issue
Raizer
Would you happen to know what the correct viscosity is for the Mitsis CaM? I just poured in what BNT gave me without questioning it haha, Fuchs Titan MP80 I think it was.

We put castrol vmx in gearboxes when I worked at mitsi
CaMpylobacter
yeah vmx80 or a 75w-90 GL4. just saw ya snapchat haha. Have you tried popping it through without clutch/double clutching spec? very odd lolz
Raizer
Sweet will try something nicer than the Titan. Lol yeah man, no clutch = just as stiff but with bonus grinding. Funny thing is after that snap I went 2 blocks up the road then had to stop at an intersection, must have warmed up enough by then as it shifted into 2nd perfect. CaMpylobacter
that'll do it. to me from your snapchat it looked like your gearlinkages are like a cock in a shirtsleeve with slop. that'll always put you behind the eight ball. get that shit all snug and you'll prolly find it's much better anyways. we get people come into work that think they need gearbox rebuilds but after $50 of gearlinkage balljoints they're rollin' nice again
