Tara no where did it say that the theatre was sorted, or any details actually

I didn't say that either...

Original spec Death Race 2000 could be cool.

American Graffiti is always a good go-to.

Smokey and the Bandit, although more a 'chase' movie than a 'car' movie is hard to beat.

OG Italian Job same as S&TB, but also superb.

Or we could get our highschool on and watch Fast and Furious.

...pretty much anything except Talledega Nights.

The one in Silvia park is really good, it's got a nice lounge area you can use before and after, and it's the fancy cinema that you use, so it's smaller (about 30 or 40 seats?) but got the plush as seats. The pricing is really good, like if you fill it it works out cheaper than an ordinary movie. We did a few with my last workplace, and a friend had his missus 30th birthday there, which was awesome, except that we watched Dirty Dancing.......

Ahh nice. I hadn't got as far as the fancy cinemas but figured price would be high.

I'll PM you later to find out more.

Cheers

I'd be keen to see one of the older, more obscure classic movies myself.

Recent releases like Rush, Senna, Turbo, Cars, et al are all readily available on DVD and most of us will have seen them at the movies already. Same goes for some of the most popular classics.

I still remember how moving Senna was, though - there were not many dry eyes to be seen, and the entire theatre got up and applauded for something like five minutes at the end.

Not sure we really want a super intense/moving/heavy film?

Maybe something on the lighter side.

Suitable for viewing with a group that includes people you don't know too well.

On a Tuesday.

Sober.

Type thing.

Everyone is different though.

Nearly everything is available on DVD, so don't take that into consideration too much.

Just make suggestions for films you want to go and watch, with a group of people, on a big screen, just for fun.

/maybe throw some jaffas and a choc-top in for good measure.
