peteretep
Anyone know where I can get reasonably priced remote brake fluid reservoirs? I found some on palmside but they are $45 ex gst each. I already have some but they have fittings on them which no one seems to deal with in NZ Also, is there a specific type of rubber that I should use for the lines running to the master cylinders? Maybe carb fuel line?
Beaver
pick a part ad raid a van or something that runs remote?
Nominal
I used two willwood ones. I think I used some hoses from a Hiace van, as Beaver notes. Biggest pain was making the fitting to go into the master cylinder. I built two of these and had them cad plated.
peteretep
Ok I'll have a look at some vans tomorrow, maybe I can get new ones from repco cheaper if I know what they came from. I have to run a hose or hard copper line to the master cylinders due to their location
Spencer
Man raid a van for sure, seen a bunch of useful looking ones in the van section yesterday.
bigmatt4
I used plastic fuel line from an old mk4 cortina for reservoir to master lines with banjo fittings cylinder end hose clamped at reservoir end found euro cars like alfas and stuff have single reservoir with three outlet hoses for front rear clutch easy mounting too good thing bout the plastic fuel line is that you can mould it with a heat gun and cool with water to hold there shape
flyingbrick
I have wilwood. they are very nice but no idea on cost (came with master cylinders) I think you should look on trademe as there are always lots on there from people who buy wilwood stuff but don't need all the tanks. peteretep
hey kpr, yeah if you have them lying around, just after the standard 1 outlet ones ideally, maybe send me a pic or a part number just to check?

Nominal
You are right. I should have looked closer/had less beer. Came from a random box of swap meet parts. There's a 3/4 inch wilwood M/C in there that has one of the mounts swan off, and the pushrod shortened right up. Who does such things?I used the complete sets on my project
