yes as above it's a Galant /\ (Lambda) where Lambda means coupe. Sigma means sedan.

In Japan they are known as the Galant Lambda for the 76-80 models and either the Galant or Eterna Lambda for 80-84 models.

In NZ the local models were badged as Galant Lambda for the 76-80 shape and Sapporo for the 80-84 shape.

In Australia they are called the Scorpion for all models 76 through 86.

In Europe they are called the Sapporo, with some UK models being badged as the Colt Sapporo.

In America they were sold under both the Dodge and Plymouth brands as the Challenger II and Sapporo.

According to Carjam, yours is NZ-new and first registered in 1980 despite being a 1978 model. I would just say someone mistakenly registered it as a Colt instead of a Galant Lambda. The A121A chassis number is correct for a 1.6 76-80 model Galant so it's not like it's wearing plates & tags from an actual Mitsubishi Colt.

Please Please Pleease put the old rims back on, They suit the car so much more than the new ones!

Im not saying the new ones are bad; they look good on certain cars, but the old rims give the sapporo such a more meaty, cleaner look.
