bigmatt4
YAY just a jammed starter motor! Thank you for all your help guys! yay one point 4 me
Jase
if an when you remove that starter give it a good work over, as brad said they are simple as and don't even have a throw out solenoid, they flick out with the inertia of it starting and have a spring that pushes the gear back off the ring gear once it's dissengaged. lots of degreaser to clean off the old crud then a spray of chain lube once its done will help

felixx
Those trucks are great for your fuel economy.. beaver used one to help him get from chch - wellington and managed to do it on 2.4litres of petrol. Nah all jokes aside, sorry it stopped, different issue this time?
chelseakennedy
Haha yeah I reckon! Yup I'm pretty sure. Was driving fine but after being on the motorway for a few km it kinda seemed like it wasn't sparking right. Had just got onto the motorway and I had another 10km til the next turn off.... The mechanic is coming this morning cos my dad can't figure out what it is so i'll keep you posted when I find out I've had it since march last year and it never caused me problems until about august this year! My muffler broke, starter motor and now this hahaha. Too attached to get rid of it though!
