Hachi-ichi
^ I haven't got around to that yet however now that you mention the bolts... EDIT : I won't be running slash plates though hahahaha
Aubrey107
And just spray paint around the ends of the boards to make it faster setting up g. I wouldn't leave it on the street..but maybe thats just me? Such a smart idea ! Did not even think about doing that haha
ANT
Such* paint wears off eventually etc.what exhaust are you running? standard? trust + stainless in the future?
dylann
It's only electrical tape for the slash so it's easy to take off. I just love the look of them.
Hachi-ichi
in the future my plan is to run (practically) TRUST Manitako attached to preferably twin 1.5' full stainless pipes straight through. A twin in / twin out Showa Muffler would be IDEAL however those are rare as fuck, currently im on stock EX with full twin 2.25' steel pipes that hang FAR too low and sound horribly average because of how my car is silenced. Ideally i'd go for Fujitsubo Mani because they DO sound noticeably different and in my opinion better. The price however id beyond ridiculous. Hachi-ichi
Got a bit busy before tyres go on. Lights up well, I'll get the hole plated over soon.
dylann
Hell yeah, wishing I went with chrome ones after seeing them on your car. Get some hektik angle going on with that plate You could look into finding a facelift cefiro tail light center panel and cut it to suit to fill your hole (ha), will probably be marginally cheaper than finding one off a x8 toyota. If you wanted a red one that is. EDIT: even a pre facelift panel might work, they have an orange strip like your tail lights too.
Hachi-ichi
Lol I have a plate to cover it for now which I may keep depending how good it looks. As for finding an X8 light, thats not too much of a problem hahahah. The reason why Plate is a bit better in X8 case is because the plate hole dives below the lights, so if I cut a light to suit, there would still be a slight hole below the light. Hachi-ichi
Tyres go on tomorrow. Should make the car like nothing else I reckon. In other news, I have a bid on a Cefiro tail light garnish like Dylan suggested hahah. Should be the biz when that's in. Hachi-ichi
So... things happened, and junk EDIT: I'm not finished... oh nooo, I'll drop it more once I get the tiny exhaust made up. coilovers still have miles in them left.
Mitch.W
OMFG!!! that is perfect! Your doing an awesome job on this thing man.
Hachi-ichi
Thanks !, It's going lower soon. Coilovers have like 20 mm left in them so I can safely say 45 mm is possible on 15s. as for any further... I'd need 14s hahaha. Next priority is getting the little exhaust installed so I can use the car at 60 mm
Mitch.W
are the chassis rails lower than the sill? or is the sill the lowest point?
Hachi-ichi
Sill is the lowest point by a little bit.
