Llama
Very interested. Looks unbalanced though?
Willdat?
Lack of balance would be offset by having a twin or triple 'rotor'?
Rookie
Very interested. Looks unbalanced though? As opposed to what? The engineering brilliance that is the piston engine? Looks to have merit, sealing, like all things at rotate, would be the problem though.
yoeddynz
And the myt engine, that those pesky Russians have apparantly nicked This is a cool design. Why has it not been picked up though? Complexity? The music score on this is fantastic. It doesn't often get much more atmospheric than this. i0XTU7gCZV4
Yowzer
I read about that one years ago. Dude was making some pretty wild claims about it. Still hasn't been able to produced a running version though, so I'm pretty sure he's all shit.
Mike-e
very elegant but it looks like getting it to seal for any length of time would be difficult (in production terms)

Compared some of the other IC designs that are out there. There was another thread on things a while back? yoeddynz
That drake one is sweet- especially the high cars it can run. Some pretty complex machining going on in there in order to manfacture one. I reckon what with Cnc machines, current cad program's, prototype 3d printers I reckon we will see more interesting designs spring up. I love this shit- even if the end result is not any more efficient than what's currently out there it's still interesting to see this stuff getting made. At some point hopefully something will pop up that will be a major break through.
