NicT Posted March 15, 2012 Share Posted March 15, 2012 Sold the stagea, then bought this after watching it be for sale on trademe since november last year. Picked it up from Orewa tonight. Soooo stoked, sooo smooth, so unmolested. Plans are to do filters, oil, water, trans fluid, then drive until the wheels fall off. Only other post i imagine i will do after this is wheels and places ive been Shitty trademe photos for now. On the motorway i got to 180kph and shat my pants. Crowns dont exactly have precise steering and having to turn the wheel 1/4 a turn to do slight adjustments was freaking me out haha. Hour job to change spark plugs, so did rocker cover gaskets and intake manifold seals while i was at it, oil change, fuel filter and air filter. Threw 5 litres of Fully synthetic in there. Car seems slightly happier with a new air filter. If you have or ever see them never ever ever drive on them, or get in a vehicle with them on. Currently i have a pair on the rear of the crown. In this rain it felt like i was driving on ice.
