Furai
My friend Andrew took some mint photos at the last drift day, even stock 1.6s make smoke! Then to get some more grip I went to softer springs at the back Ready to go in Then I made a mistake with the adjustment

Furai
So I had an afternoon session at the track Friday night, was good fun. Tried some second DZ03Gs all rou for drifting, Once warm worked good for a few laps then I cooked them... A friend got some videos from the outside, theres more on his channel of tandems and a couple mishaps... Heres the video in-car
Furai
So I had a friend take a video from the last drift day from the outside! Was quite cool, you can see me trying to go fast enough to keep a D1 car happy and doing some off roading... Also I finally got the back fixed up where I had a little touch with another car tandeming. So I got it fixed up but to save money decided I would paint it myself. Potato photo but theres a large black patch on the side... I priced up getting it painted, then priced up just paint and a friend doing it and ended up going screw it Ill try doing it with cans. So I got some matched up and went at it. Came out pretty good just needs a polish after a week or so of drying. Hopefully it will come up alright. Its tempting considering the amount of times I hit stuff to just make the car a standard can colour from a hardware shop to make it easy but I think Ill leave that Idea for now... Either way it looks much better!
Furai
Did some drifting, Smash Matsuri style kick out of door Got home to find exhaust too Cs did a good job on them
Furai
So I havent updated anythiny in a while because Im lazy. But heres the jam from the past month or so. Starting with Missle Matsuri, different location, awesome fun and a bit of bumper damage from some over enthusiast wall scrapes. Then I stripped my interior and got a new seat. Next the DMNZ day which rained and god do I love rain. Unfortunately after an awesome first half we had an entry comp which I tried clutch kicking at about 120Kmh and did two 360s into a wall, bendin my rack and snapping an iConcept rack end. So now Ive gone to knuckles, stock rack ends and S13 rod ends. Now I fixed it up but the next drift day my camera flew out the window meaning only photos of me trying to chase the D1 boys

Furai
So I found a few issues, my crash wrecked a wheel bearing and they are not as cheap as I thought. So I bought a cheap NB subframe. Swapped out the shafts and the hubs and its made the car wider or reduced the camber a bit which is good. And yes an NB subframe does fit in an NA
Furai
So got a bit done today, didnt get to paint my door though as the weather wouldnt play ball. Got the NB Hubs in and put the MKIIIs on one side for fun. Also got the coilovers with new bushes in, what a difference the new bushes made! NB Hub NA Hub Hard to see in photos but left is NA and is wider but I think it may have reduced camber but Ill check that on the alignment machine. And If I had more MKIIIs
Furai
So I got impatient and test fitted the front bumper, fits perfectly apart from the drivers fender which I have found a new one! Got some colour on the door but it needs a few more coats. So still heaps to do but we are getting there, gonna have some wheels and other bits to sell soon to.

EURON8
Full cage is sweet - Step in the right direction aye. Gonna paint it? And is there any reason they didn't try fit the upper front bar tighter to screen? I'd have said strength, but i see heaps of bent fitted bars in cages
Beaver
I would think straight bar is stronger as well as simpler?
Furai
Cheers guys, yeah it could have been bent but then he said they would prefer to have gussets on the corners to strengthen. Its always a comprimise with NZ rules and visability. Works great though and Im happy! Will get to test it tomorrow!
Sambo
Will get to test it tomorrow! Not too thoroughly, I hope. I always keep an eye out for this car, but I haven't spotted it yet.
