ryanfels
odd request, but when you throw up more pics, could you include a pic of the boot? Just wondering whether to get one imported to use as a daily, but need boot space to fit gear. Chuck an asian in your boot Alistair and start a new standard measurement much like the cellphone for dish
kirk28
all good found a pic http://www.tradecarview.com/used_car/ja ... d=300&pn=1 This is a 1993 with the bench seat -- updated, has air bag, abs etc (or does yours have abs as well? my 87 Pres had rear drums!) R100
Thats such a typical garage. When ive been out house shopping the biggest thing that puts me off every house is there stupidly small garages.
fuel
I *could* get it into my garage but it left little room between the bumper and washing machine etc. Believe it or not the ovlov with its tow bar is just as long as the Century. It has four wheel vented disc brakes with single channel ABS acting on the rear only, much like Starions of the same era. The boot is big enough but the floor was quite shallow as the fuel tank is under it, and there was a false wall which hides the rear air con condensor and blower etc, and of course the spare wheel was quite obtrusive too. Unclejake
Impressive car. Very impressive. Is it black or very dark brown? What are the plans for the window tint?
feathersword
That p-shop is along the right track, needs to be lower though, like the wheels need to be coming out of the top of the guards for clearance. Tints would either make or break it I reckon. Might be cool?
Unclejake
^ At risk of flamage: The car is part tinted now and I think that is yuck. Full tint would be better but no tint would be much best (personal opinion). I am also curious as to if the chrome(?) trim on the trailing edges of the doors is factory
feathersword
Yeah I generally think no tint is actually better except on a select number of cars, which I think are whatever the modern equivalent of ths is. Just my opinion though!
Simon
Ill be tinting the corona not for how it looks but to make it impossible to see who's driving. It would probably look better in photos with no tint but meh. Hate gawkers. I think that car would work with tints.
fuel
yeah it has poorly applied tints on the rear windows. I don't think the chrome door edge protectors are factory, I would pull them off anyway.
Alistair
Yeah the tints are pretty average and missing on one of the quarter windows The back is super dark and I actually reckon it looks quite nice dark, wouldn't mind redoing all the side windows in a dark tint. Maybe that's just my inner flat peak coming out?
