Borgweiser
ATF is my preffered oil, and I have topped up thousands Singer oil is also used by some but ATF is total win, makes em purr

Spencer
yea ATF is what I've used back in the day, worked well. That OG fluid looks reasonably priced at the moment though
ProZac
Haynes SU Carb book says SAE20 oil. ATF sounds like a good option though.
Mike-e
doger SU's love atf. overfill them and shit goes everywhere when you nail it tho
KKtrips
all my cars have twin SU's, so I mix my own special formula of 50/50 air tool oil and ATF. It works very very well - also do not be worried to overfill them as they find their own level fairly quickly.
forced
It won't have anything to do with the miss at idle though. Steve
