  1. Looking good mate love the Rose petals, did you bring them in yourself or did you find them locally?
  2. Glad you have seen the light, looking forward to the updates
  3. All good man, I usually cut them in half that way I only need to buy one from pick a part.
  4. Focus Racing please. Has your present shown up?
  5. Sorry bro, I already got dibs on the x71 hardtop
  6. Looking good bro/gizz tyres please...
  7. 4x120 you say... http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g106321647 They have been on there for months, even consided getting them my self and re drilling them. Oh and that Honda thing of yours dose look pretty sweet also, will have to have a geeze on Saturday.
  8. Sweet cheers man, just been pricing up postage to send mine down, yours up and of corse some money for your troubles and looks like its not going to be worth it. Il just keep looking for another pair/damaged set a bit closer to home. Cheers any way though.
  9. Haha gutted, could of swapped them over on the way though Hamilton The offset is stamped into the face of the centre with the size of the rim as well (like this 7JX17H2ET39) so that's with it bolted in to the front. The centre is 9mm thick and were it bolts up to the rim is 8mm so by bolting it in from behind it should give an offset of 22. Having said that your rims could be completely different (thinner, thicker, different backspace ect)
  10. Grabbed one from the shed today, offset is 39 but them with my centers being four stud thought they may be different so measured the distance from the back of were the centre bolts in to the inside edge of the rim which is 175mm. What part of the country are you in?
  11. I'm not sure off hand, Il bum a ride out to the shed some time tomorrow so I can bung one back together and measure it up. I'm in Hamilton
  12. I have a set of 17x7 0M's already striped apart, since your going to be cutting your 17x7.5's up would you be interested in doing a deal with a pair of mine and cutting them instead? would love a pair of 17x7.5 barrels so I can get some stager on
  13. I think they look good and should be plenty wide enough for such a small light car. What size are they and how much did they set you back?
  14. http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m90184767
  15. This Sory it took a wile, couldnt for the life of me remember so had a look at a few when I was at the shed yesterday.
  16. I put my sump guard on the other day and was going to take a photo but I couldn't get the camera under the front hahaha I'd say probably 30-40mm max, I still need to cut the bump stop wings off the cross member because the bottom arms are hitting them now so once that's done I'd say the sump guard should be hard on the floor. I would like to be able to drive it at that height with the 13''s but I'd say it would have to only be for on the track and short trips around town but with bigger wheels or even just bigger tyres on the 13's it shouldn't be to bad. I'm off to Ebay now so look forward to a big list of wheels in your in box
  17. That's the plan, diff arrived this week so have striped it down and am going to start making a jig to weld it to to make sure I get everything nice and straight. Haha I got one of those brightly coloured radiator caps, not by choice though so will be changing it when I find some thing more suitable. Oh its on! I love how you think along the same lines as me, when our cars are done we will have to park out side the rota nats together because they wont let us in with out modjays I got some 16''s I'm building for her now as well, just waiting on the new outer shells to arrive and Il throw some pics up. Thanks cletus, I just found your vg valiant build thread last week that thing is awesome. Its the same kind of look/feel I'm aiming for when running my stock wheel just clean and tidy but with some decent power to boot. Sorry Mike I don't do ''bling spec'' I was thinking for a FD more of a steam punk kind of theme. All piping wrapped in a rich mahogany vinyl, replace bolts with brass rivets and try to make the engine block look like a boiler of some sort
  18. Loving the copper and brass fittings bro, get manifold nickel plated for even more plumber spec?
  19. Ha was just reading your thread also. Cheers again guys and Alex I have been thinking about trying some steel or even alloy hard lines also. Another thought was the black braided hose's like I've used for my oil cooler and turbo return lines, I think it could look really nice as its a matt slightly textured finish that should look good along side the manifolds/coolers ect. I can not wait for the first drive, even just thinking about it starts to make me nervous. Also just bought a Hilux diff with 4.3 lsd so Ill start hacking into that when it shows up and am thinking I might have to steel a few idears from kpr's AE85 build
  20. Am still not supposed to drive/walk/move so will have to give this one a miss sory guys. Bring on the day light savings bbq meat meets
  21. Love watching this build dude, I like how it all looks just like its supposed to be in there. Also if you feel like making a few more number plates
  22. This in all gears accompanied by big thick clouds of smoke and the sweet sweet smell of pre mix
