d.p.n.s
ok boys and girls my vans all running now with the ca18det but im having some problems with the idle and the plugs fouling up every 5 minutes. with the idle its will start but idles around 400-500 and if you give it gas it revs up nicly and drops down to the point where it stalls 9 out of 10 times. i have cleaned the idle thinging that was caked in shit and its still the same ive tryed adjusting the idle and thats not doing it. now as the plugs and running rich i cleaned the plugs take it for a 2-3 minute drive and they are fouled up and it starts to sound like its running on 3. when i had the motor in the van sitting on stands with no exhaust it seemed to run ok. all ive added to it are exhaust system and a brether tank (was blocked of with tape when i got it) cheers dan
Burntrubber
Stock ecu? guess so fouling plugs and dropping a cylinder or sounding like it has can be caused by weak spark. Been a conversion I would look at coil power supply and the igniters also fuel pressure.
ProZac
Have you had the injectors out at all? Could be leaky maybe, pissing in extra fuel... Would be weird if they were all doing it though...
ryanfels
i had the same issues with my 1geu, ended up being the cold start injector was leaking bad. maybe try disconnecting that

QCADTA
stalling on idle after a rev could be your bov dumping measured air, injectors still compensating for the air thats not there, they run fine until they start foulin plugs. try disconnectin it and takin it for a drive. RUNAMUCK
Are your coil packs any good? Does sound a bit like bad spark. If your coils are sad it'll want to foul plugs/run like arse.

RUNAMUCK
I think to run an atmo dump BOV, you need to have it sprung so that the manifold vaccuum at idle doesn't pull it open, but when you get the big vaccuum spike of a gear shift, it vents the surplus air.
