Ned
Info on speaker upgrade. What size did you manage to fit up in there etc?
sheepers
yea, id be keen to know what speaker you used. did you try to match the electrical specifications/efficiencies of the original or just use something that fit? sheepers.
thegreatestben
They are 5 1/4". Woofer is quite deep. If I was doing it again I'd get the very least, I'd get shallower woofers And possible just stick with smaller woofers too. But the speakers were only ~$40 from work so I'm not complaining too much I did the rear doors too, just some sony 4" I replaced them because I was having lots of distortion and scratchyness. I wasn't too worried about the perfect speaker, as I was just looking for a general improvement over poos sounding speakers. I've also got a sony mexbt2600 bluetooth headunit and I got a fitting kit so that it all sits in the dash nicely.

Muzzie
Bugger, you didnt get the flash as one. Had one before it got owned by some dumb cunt trying to drift. Has all electric is the back too - seat heaters & massagers, folding front seat, AV input, factory TV, etc etc. Looks good on the rims though

Has all electric is the back too - seat heaters & massagers, folding front seat, AV input, factory TV, etc etc. Looks good on the rims though Glad I didn't get the "flash one" cos all that shit is fucked by the time its this age. Plus it weighs less, and it's got the bits I actually use. Plus I've got receipts for steering, trans and hydraulic fan being rebuilt. Plus heaps of other things. Only a few niggles let the car down. I reckon it's mint, drove it for the first time since I bought the mr2 today. Was SO weird steering is so light and oh how I missed the sound of uzzzzzzzz's
