The area where they are/were is now a great big road design to the motorway I was told. Will be there this weekend so I will let you know if you want. Manukau road is like a city street now compared to when I lived there years ago lol Corey Sorry for the spam

kyteler
If you're going to turbo. Just go the EFi route right off the bat. Save time and money. id like to rebuttle you normally id agree 100% but a pinto turbo is hardly worth putting money into im going to say suckthru su edit- i was trying to find a website about turbo su's and how great they are and by some sweet fluke this came up first result http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 202952.htm BUY BUY BUY! The point to factor in is that normally when people go turbo, then they want more power again, then more again, and again. You could do what RT did, try from carb turbo, to efi turbo, to custom just about everything mammoth setup that Josh ended up with after RT sold it to help pay for a tiny portion of his more power and torque V8 setup. Or you could do what zep did, try carb turbo then realize the folly and go to EFi turbo. If you know you'd be content with a carb turbo setup then go for it. But if you want something that makes for an ease of upgrade, has ability to run an intercooler, easily increase injector size, modify the timing easier. Blah blah. Sure the initial outlay of carby turbo would be cheaper but then when you decide (which you almost certainly will) that you want MOAR POWAH then the initial outlay of the EFi after all your time and effort spent pissing about with the carby turbo. Really depends what you're after in the long run I guess. I'm not sure of anyone who has built themselves up a carb turbo setup and then kept it. d.p.n.s
The fellow just re listed this http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =199951647 Wish i had spare cash / one less project would be a nice easy way to do it but i dont have the cash and im not tp keen on the turbo manifold had one befor and didnt work as well as a home built one. and i dont want the turbo on top. suck through or blow through it will be efi the throttle bodies i have are in 2 sets of 2 so if i go suck through ill just use 2 of them and they are efi. or if i go blow through ill just make an inlet to take all 4 and a plenum. Ive got my mk1 2door shell in the garage so i think ill bolt a crossmember in throw one of the pintos in the and just make it all to fit then slam it in the van untill the motor blow then ive got 2 205 motors so ill just build a stronger better motor. i do like the idea of the suck through and how easy it will be but i keep thinking ive got to make a turbs maniflod anyway and do the comuter and loom so i may aswell make a inlet and do it all right the 1st time so if i want to upgarde later its all there to do it. dan

slipsittin
Instead of turbo why not do compounding superchargers? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 476667.htm Could be out of control
