esky 73
distance from cam angle sensor to rad support panel is180mm not to sure why some pics have come out different sizes, sorry
Gaz
Your radiator setup looks pretty weird lol. Pipewise for cooler thats exactly what I was thinking to do. How much from say, the front of CAS to the very front of that top radiator valence?
esky 73
yeah i will be changing the radiator/fan around shortly, i am putting a better rad in and swapping the fan to the engine side of rad, then moving the whole lot foward, i will have to modify the water outlet off the engine slightly to get better flow into rad, was in a bit of a rush to get it going again after the front conversion, the tape is against the cas bolt head, the top rad panel is the one i smoked in there from the other car, so it may be a couple of mill either way, but grill and everything lines up bang on so it must be fairly close
Gaz
Sweet cheers heaps fo that, I will compare to mine in weekend. As for rad, I want to buy one of the Civic alloy ones but want to know it will cool the engine first.. My guess is no as they are bloddy small, smaller than standard CA. esky 73
i am not to sure what mine is out of but it seems to cope....just! the temp sits on 75 when tooling around but start to feed it the fat for a while and she creeps up, around 90-95, i think with the above mentioned changes it should be fine though, why the old owner put the fan in front i'm not sure, if this don't work out i will get a custom one made, i know on the drift cars i have built (nissans) you cant go past the dirty old engine fan and shroud, so maybe i will go that way, room may be a issue
