I don't understand this "new" 32/36 business...???

Also don't understand why it's such an ordeal to fit it, I did mine in about 2 hours. I suppose you have swapped it round a bit.

Have you test fitted those extractors? Heaps are designed for L300s and don't fit without a lot of fucking about

I'm buying a "new" 32/36

(both mine are fucked and in pieces)

I know it'll cost a bit more but rather just get it all sorted now,

and wont have to worry about it again

Yea taking a "long fucking time" to sort out the mounting cos

want to get it right, and the way I had it setup (the 1st time)

wasnt really gona work :?

Plus waiting for parts to be "made" etc

Yea I've test fitted those xtractors, fit sweet as 8)

Choice build, new carb is unheard to me

what's motivating/motivated you to go down this road?

Not sure what you mean by, "this road?" :?

do you mean, why carb and not injection or VR4 engine?

or why new carb?

Just trying to keep it, factory looking and tidy

and using "new" parts for qualitly and reliabilty

I know its not for everyone but, each to their own

(see my quote below)

Ah so thats who that filter was for, very cool. Gonna be chased by Japanese museums!

Every 15 year old who is into cars should be shown this as a "how-to"

Definately, though the usual 15 year old doesnt have the skills/money/motivation to do something this indepth unfortunately. Good motivator for the future though!

Good shit man, wish i had the cash to buy a new carb aswell! Im building a decent one out of the 3 i have, so hopefully is should go alright. Would you parts with the choke flaps from one of your old carbs? And a manual choke linkage if either of them had one?

Cheers man :)

Yea I've got a few carb bits lying around now, but none of them had a "manual" choke

(thats why I made sure the "new" one did)

Might wait and see until, I get it "going" (eventually)

before getting rid of bits tho man
