Have a search as im sure its been mentioned before and someone went on LTSA and copy/pasted the facts over..

Anyway, from memory, If you use original mounts you are fine.. this is the easiest way.. BUT with the cortina if it had benchies standard this is near on imposiable as they didnt have four holes on each side.

If you do need to make new holes in the floor to bolt throught then you must...

Use 50x50mm plate with edges rounded off and it bashed to curve with underbody. They need to have the nut or bolt fixed to the plate so it cant fall out. (I just weld a nut on). They also have to be fixed through the floor so the plate cant fall off if the nut comes undone (I use rivets)

Umm, also need a plate on the top side in cabin I think, (need to check that one). Either way its pretty easy in most cases. The cortina is a bit differant if it is the same as mine as the rear mounts will most likely fall in the place that is dobule skinned with box section.. If it does hit me up and ill show what ive dont.

Heres a crude drawing. The black slabs are the orig seal rails and the red outline is the aftermarket seat. The blue/cyan whatever is the bits of steel that go under the aftermarket seat and bolt to the a/m seat and to the orig rails. Easiest way I could think of, and didnt require a cert or anything.

thats a dam good idea are the steel(blue) bits just bolted to the aftermarket seats?

Thats what I've done with mine also. As far as I can tell the red vertical lines are the A/M alloy seat brackets, a la; M1bkt-320-240.jpg

Haven't had any trouble for wofs (lols at where I get wofs though) but more importantly have been pulled over by cops with it and 2 have checked the seats out. They checked the mounting points and that the seat can move forwards and backwards and were happy with what they found. Would be gay to get stickered for something silly like seat mounts.
