Raizer
You may have to settle for 60s or maybe something like a Toyo 215/
Gaz
Toyo

Jebus
Just right for a 185 wide tyre.
mikuni
Jebus is heading in the right direction. Yoko A539 175/50/13, they look good I reckon. Otherwise Toyo do a Proxes in 215/50/13 - I think its 50? possibly 55. They are called FZ4 from memory. And if you want to wait for a little while, Dunlop do a 195/45/13 but they have to put them on indent order which could take around 3 months to get into NZ. While looking for tyres I searched far and wide and that was all I could come up with that was less than 60 profile. I did try stretching 60 (and 70) profile and it looked so filthy (in a bad way ). I think Pirelli and possibly Bridgestone do something aswell, so you could try there.
Jebus
W3rd, mikuni is right, gone are the days when a tyre bulging over the side of rim is cool. Bigger tyres doesnt = more grip. In fact, tyres bulging over the sides of rims remind me of this.

mikuni
A 70 series stretched WILL LOOK SHIT. The side wall curves and it just looks like a big balloon. You need to get a good quality tyre with quite a strong side wall and preferably a lip protector if you want to go for big stretch. I lol at people criticising using small 175 tyres because they need traction, then opting for a non-directional 215 eager. Toyo A539's hold the road like a fat bitch holding a donut, while eagers hold the road like a fat bitch on a slippery slide (sorry I just can't get her ^ out of my head! )
Snoozin
Lip protectors are great, they even make tyres that fit a rim correctly look mildly stretched. Also at times a wide as fuck tyre on a light car causes more problems, with tramlining and aquaplaning in the wet. That said, I will wouldn't want to be driving on the track with a 175 stretched on an 8" rim... seeing what cornering forces do to stiff sidewalled race tyres is enough to make me sure of that. mikuni
I was thinking that aye. Might be dodgy but the D1 guys stretch considerably more than 175 onto an 8 and never have any issues relating to that, despite the absolute shit they give everything on the car. Saying I'm confident that my wheels/tyres will hold up at speed is a lie, but I'm going to give it a crack anyway.
