spacie Posted February 7, 2007 Share Posted February 7, 2007 how do you tell a 1300 from a 1600??? i have a motor i picked up from the neighbours...we suspect it came from a Mk2 Ghia, but we arent 100% sure. does the "code" along the side of the block tell you? Stacov Posted February 7, 2007 Share Posted February 7, 2007 i have a 1600HC in my mk2 cortina well meant to be a 1600 got it from a wreckers they said it was a 1600 but the numbers on it are 711m6015aa so have no idea what it is even tho it says 1600HC on the rocker cover only 2 things didnt fit off the 1300 on to it was the sump had to get a bigger one and the water pump wouldnt fit so anyone able to tell me if it really is a 1600 ? cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
