RT
not hard.. just very time consuming, boring and annoying. Your just removing all the wires inside the wheel arch instead of the enginebay.
L0WMK2
its easy like rt said just takes time tho but do a bit at a time and that makes it easier, have you got your battery in boot aswell? thats a piece of piss job ive done it to 3cars now costs around $75 including the battery box
nismo.capri
...and protect the wires from rock and general road crud damage
Josh
Oh yea...doesnt sound to hard, but rather time consuming but thats ok. No lowmk2 dont have battery in boot...yet, will find its way there very soon though
Snoozin
You may find you'll have to extend wires and so on as well depending on the routes you take... more time consuming business, but I reckon it's worth it in the end, especially for the purpose for what your car is intended. I wouldn't bother with a regularly driven road car though.
Gaz
My mk2 cortina is deloomed. Looks cleaner. Isnt hard as above have said. Might have to add a few relays here and there if wire starts getting too long.
avenger79
Had my old Hunter done, sent it to a professional. me+wiring=messy Looks wicked, worth the time/effort.
lowlancer
Perfect for the official oldschool show car aka Josh's capri Personally I wouldn't bother with my car, but it's no show car. Still vaguely interested as to how long it must take.
thminiman
ive semi done it to thmini. basically taped up all the wires into one bundle (mini is fucken easy, all the wires go around the engine bay any way. then because i couldnt be fucked cutting wires and joinging them up again, i just zip tied the cable into where 2 panels meet. its viewable, but tidy. corrupt
yeh, done kinda similar in the tina, covered all the wires all the way around in that black wire covering stuff, and it is attached in the engine bay running along the chassis rails which from them down are black, so you dont even really notice it. CaMpylobacter
i love the look of tidy factory wiring in a minimalistic fashion. deloomed looks weird to me
Gaz
i love the look of tidy factory wiring in a minimalistic fashion. deloomed looks weird to me I think with a small simple engine delooming looks funny. With a a larger turbo or injected it looks good.
L0WMK2
im de-looming mine, basically all wiring will go in guards. then im goin to mount coil and solenoid under the factory battery stand in engine bay. then on the other side ill jus have temp sender wire and 2 off the alternator but mite run them under mount so its a bit more hidden
