spacie
How much to get the front springs in my Scrot compressed? also, have some spare Mk 2 front springs here, would they fit my Mk 1? cos if they do, maybe i could get some rugged cunt that knows what hes doing (not me) to cut em, then just swap back to my standard springs for WoFs??? spacie
yeah thats what i was originally planning on buying before my Esky got stolen. now, my budget doesnt allow that kind of shiz. also, the guy whos selling them (bellas) will probably refuse to trade with me (long story)
peteretep
you could ring snells springs in auckland to see what prices they have, that guy on trademe 'bellas' uses them, there may be other/better options available for the price
Gaz
mk2 wsprings will fit mk1s. I dont advise cutting.. but if you do make sure you dont cut tooo much off and that you machine the strutrs down to make it captive. Or $70 odd to compress what ya go. spacie
chur Methz. will probably get compressed, want it slammed 2 inches all round. will buy some 2inch lowering blocks & U-bolts too, the ones i have are only 1 inch & the U-bolts are to fit a MG Midget
Gaz
I have 2 in mine. Changing to 3inch tommorow. Will post pics. If you want it real slammed youll want 3 inch or more.
spacie
3 inch?hmmm OK. can the standard springs be compressed 3 inches?or would i have to go for aftermarkets?i dont really wanna do any hard shit like getting shocks machined & all that shiznit cos im a n00b & thats extra $$$ shit, mines gonna ride like shit after getting slammed, considering with only 1 passenger in the back seat & going over uneven road causes the back to hit its bumpstops momentarily (ive already mentioned this in a post)
