excort
yeah its a standard 2ltr its honestly not as lould as it sounds on idle its really quite yeah the piglets might not like it tho but ill see what the cert guy says do you have exstractors on your pinto ? are they 4-2-1 or 4-1 ? that might make abit of diference and ive got that massive twin cannon on the bak that no one likes but eh it sounds gud lol all that matters to me
Stacov
yeah i got 4-2-1 extractors, lumpy cam etc.. vortex muffler box and a RPS dumper just surprising to see the pinto sound different same with my old mans cortina thats different again haha! aslong as u like it thats all that matters man
Gaz
shit mines alot louder than that. mine sounds like its straight off the extractors. Yours sounds a hell of alot nicer.
excort
thats interesting i wouldnt think that muffler would make such a diference ay but its still got the pinto sound which is great have you got a straight 2inch out the back of yours? corrupt
what kind of exhuast system do you have? pipe size/mufflers/tip ? any engine mods to the engine? ive had many different exhuast systems on my standard pinto, standard / straight thru + rice cannon/ straight thru + 421 extractors + rice cannon/ straight thru 421 extractors, sports muffler, dumpy tip. etc by anyway, your car sounds mean, better than any of the setups ive had so far. mikuni
Yeah, its coming along nicely aye. Luving the carbs, are they off a bike originally? Will be a little bit tricky to get them all tuned right, and what happend to the turbo manifold etc? Will your carbs/manifold fit on with those massive filters?
excort
yeah im gona leave the turbo manifold for now maybe look at doing something with it in the future or use it on another car yeah they fit the carbs are tuned for a 2ltr pinto by esslinger so im told they will fit with the filters they might need abit of tweaking as far as i know they were brand new. im thinking bout trying to modify my turbo manifold to sleve on to all 4 of the carbs latter down the track any ideas ? cheers eventually ill take you for a fang lols

Snoozin
Bike carbs are great, so easy to balance too, much more straightforward than a set of sidedrafts.
