  1. ^ yeah deal extreme is a mint site, myself and mates have never had any problems with them, stuff usually arrives in about 10 days
  2. why is setting up a watts link going to be considerably more expensive? lost of production cars came out with them, if they were massively expensive they would have all had panhards
  3. if your worried about diff location with a panhard, why not use a watts link??
  4. ^ you dont need to run in bearings as (in theory) they dont actually touch anything as they have a layer of oil on/around them. rings are what need running in
  5. the dyno is the best place to run in an engine, let warm up, a bit of getting lower revs sorted then super max load but never redline for first 1000kms. how i did mine and its prime
  6. if you "measure twice cut once" keeper springs are not necessary. however for your current situation i think they could be the answer. doing what beaver etc said is the correct way to do it, cut your strut tube down, run a shorter body shock, hey presto super slammed with the height wound fully up
  7. from memory the bundy has to be "mounted" to the chassis every 300mm
  8. get a 4wd hilux diff with the 6x139 stud pattern, then re drill axels to 4x110 and bang in the lathe to get OD down to a reasonable size. sorted
  9. use integra pump from tank to surgem bosch from surge to fuel rail, woy overkill but you have everything so who cares. 8mm bundy will be sweet
  10. as fuel said as close to 0 as possible if not negative. and the wheel MUST follow the golden rule. WIDTH MUST BE AT LEAST HALF WHEEL DIAMETER. eg. a 14" wheel must be at least 7" wide if not 8" or 9" etc oh and 16" tires are crazy expensive and 17" on old cars doesn't look right
  11. last time i looked at getting OEM flywheel bolts from toyota they were like 17 huck a pop, i wouldnt call that cheap
  12. sell the G4 and buy on of those 4age ignition controllers (forget the name, but plug into where the dizzy wiring goes, runs standard dizzy and 11 degrees base timing iirc) for like $250. instant $1000 minimum profit.
  13. i wouldnt drive a car with 5 degrees, you wont be able to turn in the rain at all + will chew tires mad fast
  14. the avon mouth is on bridge street, heathcote comes out in ferrymead
  15. na, reasonably easy to come by, ppl want mad cash for them tho. I sold my re-shimmed LSD (was so tight it may as well have been a locker) for like $350-400 a couple years back, so don't pay much more than that. from memory even when shimmed the hilux is a weird sord of LSD that will eventually go 1 wheel even if its brand new. its hard to explain, will spin 2 wheels to a point i guess
  16. ^ coast road was 100kph last weekend???...
  17. pretty high that its fucked, i had 2 in a row fucked from ripco, took forever to figure it out
  18. will it all be worth it to get 5 degrees when the first time you drive it in the rain you sledge into a power pole? with that much camber you will have like 1/8th of your tire on the road. and yeah can drill the arms, well i did in my 70 anyway. have you thought about rose jointing your existing arms? costs about $150 for parts plus a little cutting/welding, way more blingin than urethane + adjustable action
  19. 5 degrees is fuckn crazy heaps, like v8 supercar spec. donno what fits carinas etc but iv got x70 arms in my ae70 and i know sigma bolt in ae86/ke70 etc
  20. RJP were out in kiapoi by KATS but have moved back to their St Aseph St shop assording to their add on the radio, still in kaipoi too
