  1. dash has a couple of very little cracks which have been filled with a special dash repair goo.and the rust in the engine is all gone. new plates welded in there. engine bay was taken back to bear metal epoxy primed, 2k primed then 2k white top coat
  2. Not much of a update but thinking of selling this. will put up current photos over the weekend
  3. i was thinking of using to paint my x-member and steering components. after giving them a sand blast was thing of etch priming them and then using the 3m chassis black.

  5. well iv gone done a differnt road again. sold the 4g63 and gone back to the g32. what is your adivce on carb set up?run the standard or use a weber 32/36?

  8. hey guys trying to get quotes to get a motor from mastern to auckland. But need to know the weight of a 4g32 (1600cc) motor. can anyone help out

  10. when i went to do the compression test and take out the spark plugs 2 were very loose. -done the test all tested good. -put back together and warmed up and test drove -once warm rang the titties out of it -no more problem so would the 2 spark plugs that were very loose cause this problem.guessing it wouldnt have been producing a good spark and sucking in air? cheers karl
  11. anyone in the south auckland area got a compression tester i could borrow for half an hour??
  12. yea started yestrday.will probilly take the head off on friday. or will it be best to compression test it first??or just pull it apart.
  13. I know this isnt old school but need some help My misses has got a 92 fx corolla with a 4a-fe in it. She was on her way home yesturday and just about over heated it. then next minute i get a text saying help cars stopped. Went out and checked it. it had no water so i filled it up with water and drove it home only 2 mins to home. half hour later went and checked it- no water, checked it out and the bottom radiator was f@#*ed So tonight got a brand new radiator in it and warmed it up- all ok. took it for a drive around the block - got half way and it started missing and sounding like a subaru. just as i got home my brother turned up and said it popped head gasket. There is no water in the oil and vase a versa. guessing its popped the gasket and leaking air?? any help will be great
  14. i was thinking that but yea same again trying to find a 10 bolt sigma is gona take a while. should have stayed with the 8 bolt lsd at least i could of used the other axles
  15. iv snapped the axle in my 10 lancer diff. as you all know these are very hard to get hold of. what axles that are easlier to get hold of to fit in there? cheers guys
